Planning on a Rock Instead of Sand

Kait has been a dear friend of mine for several years but we’ve always lived hours away from one another. We’ve never actually been able to make it to any milestone celebrations in each other’s lives but we have always cheered from the sidelines. When she reached out to me looking for planning support for her son’s baptism, it was an immediate yes from me! The budget was tight but that didn’t mean Kait didn’t deserve the best in planning help. She expressed to me that she was a master daydreamer but a terrible executer. If she had a plan, she could follow it but coming up with that plan was challenging for her. She wanted the day to be stress-free, ceremony-focused, and to practice the art of hospitality in her home. I suggested that she consider going with my budget audit service so that together we could work within her budget to come up with an easily executed plan that accomplished all of her goals. I also threw in a design board so she could see the vibe of what I was proposing to her.

In the end, I had a conflict with another event that kept me away from attending this one as a guest, but I am assured that it went off just as well as Kait and her family could have hoped, thanks to having a rock solid budget and plan.

“One of my greatest regrets was not hiring a wedding planner for my wedding. It wasn't until the day before and the morning of that I realized just how many details were missed and so I spent those precious moments in a flurry of stress trying to get everything done. In an attempt to redeem myself for so many hectic, unorganized events since, I reached out to Andrea to help me plan my 3rd child's baptism. I wanted to have a warm and celebratory event. I told Andrea what I was hoping for and what my budget was. I was so impressed when, within a couple days she had a budget and a really thoughtful Pinterest page for planning. Even though she lives further away, she sent me links to local businesses that I could use for my event. I think the budget is the only thing that kept me from panicking as I got closer to the day. The day ended up being so beautiful and the reception was exactly what I had hoped for as everyone came to celebrate my son's baptism. Thank you Andrea!”
