A Perfectly Stratford Micro Wedding
Brianna and Noah’s love story has taken them all over the province: a high school romance in St. Mary’s, postsecondary and moving in together in Toronto, working in Ottawa, and now, a fairytale wedding in Stratford. They new that now that it was time to tie the knot, that didn’t mean they had to put on a big production of a wedding because that just wasn’t their style. They wanted a high quality experience, but they wanted it to feel intimate and relaxed. They wanted to spend the day doing their favorite thing: enjoying everything this little postcard town has to offer and share that with each other and only their closest friends and family. Since Bri and Noah were the only two on the guest list who were familiar with the “Festival City”, and this is where they were putting down their roots, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to introduce everyone to the place they now call home.
We started the day with a heartfelt ceremony by Chris Schulthies in Stratford’s famous Shakespearean Gardens’ sweet little gazebo. While family and friends shed tears over beautifully written vows, so did morning strollers who stumbled onto the lovely scene. Following portraits by Melissa V. with each of their friends and family members, we strolled over to the award-winning
Bri and Noah are a perfect example of how a small wedding does not mean sacrificing on quality or personal touches. As a matter of fact, by being intentional with their guest list, they were able to offer each guest an elevated and personalized experience. Every single person who surrounded them as they exchanged their vows and clinked their glasses knew that they had been hand-picked to be there and mattered deeply to the couple. The intimacy created meant that they were able to not only get photos with everyone, but they were also able to craft wedding day memories with each individual.
since this place will be a part of their life forever, we wanted to bring it into the wedding story as the third character in their marriage: home.
