Partial Wedding Planning
Partial Wedding Planning services are built for couples who want to remain hands-on with their wedding planning but also understand that turning dreams into reality is no weekend project. We will work side by side to empower you to work on the areas of your wedding you feel most confident in taking on while covering elements that you feel you would rather delegate.
This service makes use of our vendor matchmaking method to source and recommend vendors that have been pre-vetted to ensure a good style fit, price point, availability, and are always insured professionals.
We’ll have continuous communication and regularly scheduled meetings to keep everything on track. Once the wedding day comes, you’ll be able to confidently hand all the logistics over to us knowing that we have worked together to create the most perfect version of your wedding day.
Services start at $3300.00
Average spend: $5050.00
Pre-Planning Hand in Hand
At the start of your planning journey, your certified wedding planner will work with you to help build your budget and offer décor design support.
We will also plan a site visit to your venue so that we have a clear idea of the layout and possibilities.
Work with your planner to decide which vendor categories you’d like to source yourself and which 5 match-made-in-heaven vendors you’d like your planner to focus on. Your planner will also offer vendor contract reviews before you sign, regardless of who sourced them, so you feel confident all your interests are well protected.
You’ll have 5 in-depth planning meetings with your planner to go over where things are at, what’s coming up next, and get personalized recommendations that support your vision.
Between meetings, we’ll keep each other in the loop with unlimited email and text support.
In the month leading up to your wedding, you’ll meet with your planner to review the detailed day-of schedule created throughout the process and any confirm final details with your vendors.
In the week leading up to your wedding we will have a final site visit and your coordinate your rehearsal at your ceremony venue (or attended if your officiant/pastor does this).
Finally, take a deep breath.
The best day of your life is around the corner.
Perfectly Planned, Perfectly Executed
On your wedding day, your planner and 1 -2 on-site assistants, all equipped with fully-stocked day-of emergency kits, will execute your schedule at or beyond your expectations.
During your all day on-site coverage, and based on the particular needs of your day as planned or as arises, this might include:
running several local errands
supervising vendor set-up
decor set up, if timeline and scope permits
reviewing and setting last minute details such as aisle decor, name cards, guest book, and more
working with your venue to ensure a welcoming ceremony and reception space
be the point-of-contact for vendors, VIPs, and guests
cueing processionals and recessionals
support for you bridal party and key family members
simple announcements and supporting the photo schedule
troubleshooting with vendors and disbursing payments as requested
We do our best to identify where problems may arise in advance so we can be ready to meet each one with efficient and effective solutions so that you didn’t even notice.

Great question! This will come down to how much pre-planning support you think you could best benefit from. A coordinator is a good fit for couples who feel confident planning their own wedding. They often have project management or event planning experience and assess what vendors are necessary to accomplish their vision and how to make it happen within their set budget for their number of guests. A planner is a better fit for couples who would rather not take such a lead on the logistics of planning an event with the level of importance, emotion, and scale of a wedding. Couples who are working and/or studying full time may also feel they don’t have the 200 - 300 hours to dedicate to planning a wedding on top of their personal and professional commitments. Check out our partial and full planning packages or book a call to discuss the different options or even a custom package for you.

Both our partial and full planning packages start from the day you sign and continue until the day of your wedding. Full planning will take care of every aspect of the wedding including sourcing all your vendors, budget creation and management, design, and of course execution. Partial planning hits all these categories as well but in a more limited way. For example, your partial planner can help you build your budget and source about half of your vendors, but you will be responsible for sourcing your remaining vendors and making sure your overall budget stays on track.
-
Partial planning provides more pre-planning support over coordination. While both services include unlimited email and phone consultation, partial planning services will provide more hands-on support. We will help you create your budget, support decor and design, source more vendors, work and rework floor plans, do contract reviews, and much more.

We quote each couple based on the specifics of their wedding to ensure they are getting a fair price. Some of the most common factors include guest count, vendor count, set up services requiring extra staff or hours, distance from our homebase (Newmarket, Stratford or Essex).
Our pricing is also reflective of our decade of experience and the benefits you receive that come as part of our professional certifications and credentials.
You will receive your custom quote towards the end of our consultation after we have had a discussion on how we can tailor our service to fit your needs.

A certified planer is an assurance that the person you will be working with is commited to the craft and continuous improvement. We understand the risks and liabilities that come with putting on a one-time-only event such as wedding and treat it with a high level of care, and not as a hobby. We also carry insurance and are happy to provide proof on request.

We typically book about 12 - 18 months in advance however if your date is outside of the range we still encourage you to reach out as we may have availability. Partial planning must be booked at least 5 months prior to your wedding date. We also have associates who are also WPIC certified planners who are able to deliver the Demars Events standard equally as well as Andrea should she herself be unavailable.
“It was literally a stroke of luck that I happened to stumble upon Andrea's services. She was there for me at absolutely every turn - kind, compassionate and organized. She was willing to put 200% into solving every issue that cropped up. She was a pro at handling all the Church elements of my wedding as well - which was super important to me. My wedding turned out PERFECT because she made the experience so wonderful and personalized and reassured me every step of the way. Don't hesitate at all to contact her!”
