We offer a a variety of planning services to match the level of support you need. This ranges from full planning services, to partial planning, to event coordination and management. We also offer a-la-caret services such as budget and scheduling creation, and single 1-on-1 planning sessions - these are always with Andrea.

We approach wedding and event planning with a holistic perspective that takes into consideration not just the host or guest of honour’s experience, but also the experience of all your guests and vendors. We consider hospitality to be a virtue and an opportunity to honour everyone you have gathered around you for your special day. Therefore every decision we make together gets thoughtfully considered from the perspective of how it will impact you, any guests of honour, and everyone else. We are also taking into consideration your budget, desired timeline, and other important elements and consolidating that with your vendors’ needs. This ensures they aren’t rush and are providing the best service possible which means you’re not rushed and are receiving the best service possible.
While Demars Events considers it an honour to serve anyone’s wedding, we specialize in Catholic, Chrisitan, religious, and multicultural weddings and events.

I pride myself on clear, friendly, honest, and timely communication. Messages that contain information for you to consider or require your approval will always come in an email for you to review, while things that require a personal touch or handling will usually come as a phone call. I am available to receive texts but typically only send them for time-sensitive reminders. Any communication recieved is almost always responded to within one business day.
Each of our couples also receives a log-in to our client portal where they can track not just where I am in your planning process, but also tracks to-dos on your end as well to keep us all on track.

I offer flexible pricing based on the unique needs and goals of each event. During our initial consultation, I will provide you with a quote right away. You can see my starting pricing and what the average spend is under each of my services.

I do not give my couples a preferred vendor list and leave them with that as it still puts so much work on you to research the vendors, discover if they are a good budget and style fit, and inquire about their availability. Instead, I do vendor matchmaking. For each vendor category you use my referral service for, you tell me what style you’re going for and how much you’re looking to spend on that vendor, and I recommend one or two at a time that I know are professional, available, in budget, and a good style and personality fit. If you meet the vendor and decide it’s a good fit - fantastic, you’ve booked your florist in 1/10th of the time. If it’s not a good fit, no problem, we will repeat the process until we find the right vendor for you. I NEVER take kickbacks so you can be assured that anyone being recommended to you is truly a good fit.

Working with us is a collaborative experience complimented with with clear guidance and support. Honesty and transparency is is a priority, and so is coming to the table with various solutions and advice. We aim to create a relaxed and stress-free process on your end while also maintaining a clear attention to detail and rigor on ours.

Andrea is our lead planner on almost every event. Depending on the scope and scale of your day, she may bring an assistant to make sure that every base is covered with contingency. Demars Events also has trusted and certified associates who can also step into lead planner positions if the demand for a certain date is there. For multi-day events, there is always a second associate lead who will cover off with the lead planner to make sure we are running at our optimal capacity and continuous coverage.

Potentially! While Andrea is the owner and lead planner at Demars Events, we do have trusted and certified associates who are able to support your planning and execution at an equal level of competence and professionalism. Depending on what kind of support you are looking for, they will provide the Demars Events experience at an equal level to Andrea. Who will be working your wedding is always communicated in advance and never a surprise.

Absolutely, as every one of your vendors should be! A certificate of insurance is available upon request and if your venue requires it, they can be listed on it as well.
